Project Description: HB Fleming installed 14 helical piles with a 40-ton design capacity to support a 23 x 9’ footing on soft soil.
Challenge: When excavating for footings, an area of soft soil was uncovered near an old excavation support structure, which could not support the spread footing.
Solution: We were able to design and build a helical pile-supported foundation without delaying the project.
