Project Description: HB Fleming drove 12 test piles at four different locations using high-strain dynamic testing. We also designed and performed a static load test with a maximum test load of 1,050,000 lbs.
Challenge: We were asked to evaluate potential foundations for a proposed manufacturing facility expansion. A thick layer of glacial till created very difficult driving conditions.
Solution: We worked with the design team to drive multiple pile types and evaluate their effectiveness across the proposed site.
